The Center Library's Online Catalog

What can I do in the catalog?

Search the Catalog
Use The Center Library's catalog to find everything available from The Center Library.

Browse Shelves
When you click on a book's title in the catalog, a "Shelf Browser" bar appears below the description. This shows items surrounding that item on the shelf that are generally about the same topic.

Google Books
If an item in the catalog has a 'Google Books Preview' available, a button will display that you can click to see table of contents and chapter previews.

What can I do with a Library Card?

When you login to the catalog via the "My Account" button, more services are available to you.

Holds.  While searching the online catalog, you can place holds on up to 5 items.  You will be notified via email when the hold item is ready for pickup.

Lists.  Create personal lists of items in the catalog, and share the list with others.  A great way to remind yourself of books you want to check out some time.
